David started his professional career in 1952 with Lithgow Group Dockyards, has worked with NPCC, Davy’s and Mc Dermott to name a few, is renowned throughout the construction sector of the offshore hydrocarbon extraction, processing and transmission industry for his contribution to the industry.

His structured career is built on the firm practical and theoretical foundation of a five-year indentured marine engineering apprenticeship, a mechanical engineering honors degree and management studies. It spans design, construction management, contracts management, project management, marketing and business development and has well equipped him with the skills, experience and contacts necessary for his role as consultant to the industry.

Manish started his Banking Career in 1997as an associate for Bank of America, India. In the 21 years of experience Manish was associated with ABN Amro, Citibank, SCB Private Bank, Lloyds Private Bank in various functional areas of Wealth and Private banking between India and UAE.

In 2013, Manish left Lloyds to start his own Advisory set up, Latitude Capital Partners Limited, regulated by the DFSA, providing Financial Advisory services to Clients. Currently Manish is managing Latitude capital Partners Limited a DFSA regulated Asset Management Company.

Mr. Pankaj Chopra has been associated with the Indian Equity markets in various roles for the past 27 years with reputed Indian Groups like HDFC and Reliance apart from a couple of US based firms.

Mr. Chopra is the Founder and Chief Executive of Five Rivers Portfolio Managers, a boutique investment management outfit that provides Discretionary Portfolio Services to Ultra High Net-worth Individuals and Family Offices, as well as advisory services to Domestic and International Institutions.

Mr. Chopra was last the Chief Executive Officer of Reliance Wealth Management for a period of five years, where he was instrumental in setting up the third-party distribution operation as well as a highly focused equities portfolio business. In addition, Reliance Wealth Management acted as the Investment advisor to the WIOF – India Performance Fund, Luxembourg, the Reliance Shariah India Growth Fund, Malaysia and the RWM Managed Portfolios Fund, Mauritius.

In his earlier role as the Head of Client Funds, Mr. Chopra set up a private money management and advisory practice at HDFC Asset Management Company Ltd., which, apart from managing private portfolios acted as an investment advisor to Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, Nikko Asset Management and Standard Life Investments, amongst others.

In the year 2000, Mr. Chopra was part of a core team which set up HDFC Mutual Fund and joined in as a Senior Fund Manager looking after some the initial schemes launched by the mutual fund.

For seven years prior to this, Mr. Chopra worked in the Treasury at Housing Development Finance Corporation where he helped win several international investment advisory mandates including the Commonwealth Equity Fund and the Invesco India Growth Fund.

In the early years 1990s Mr. Chopra was seconded by Batterymarch Financial Management, Boston, to look after their investment affairs in India.

Mr. Chopra is a Charter holder CFA from ICFAI, Hyderabad and has also completed the CFA program from the CFA Institute, USA. He holds a master’s degree in Finance and is a Graduate in Agricultural Sciences.

Harpal Dugal – (Senior Consultant) started his Banking Career in 1980 with Citibank, India. In the 17 years that Harpal was associated with Citibank, he worked in Corporate and Consumer Banking in various functional areas and in several Asian Geographies (including Indonesia, Singapore and the Philippines) in senior business leadership roles, managing independent businesses with direct functional reports covering the entire gamut of related business functions like Marketing, Sales and Distribution, Credit and  Risk Management, Operations, Financial Control and Business Planning and Internal Control.

Harpal moved to Standard Chartered Bank (SCB) after Citibank and was Chief Executive Officer of the bank in India. During his tenure at SCB, Harpal was initially responsible for establishing the strategy and managing the Consumer Banking business and was a senior member of the global team that was involved in the acquisition and merger of Grindlays Bank in the Middle East and India, and its subsequent integration with SCB – leveraging his rich cross – functional experience in managing the biggest foreign bank in India at that time.

Harpal joined Dubai Financial Group (DFG), a subsidiary of Dubai Group in 2007 as Managing Director and responsible for investments and the management of their banking portfolio. He was a Director on the board of Bank Muscat and a few other Gulf banks as the representative if DFG who were significant shareholders in these entities.In 2010, Harpal was appointed acting CEO of DFG and responsible additionally for restructuring Dubai Group and its subsidiaries.

During his stint with DFG, Harpal was involved in some acquisitions and divestitures as well, conducting due diligence and involved in deal structuring, negotiations and closure.
